Thin Objects:

A Discussion with the Author, Øystein Linnebo

One of the Analytic Philosophy Circle's session was about Øystein Linnebo's Thin Objects (OUP, 2018). The discussion was in English and took a bit longer than 2 hours. Øystein Linnebo presented some of the main ideas of his book and answered various questions. We discussed abstract objects, theoretical constructs, fictional entities, the concept of meaning, synonymy, the development of modal set theory, potential infinity and actual infinity, inaccessible cardinals, and empty possible worlds.
